Recticel signe une lettre d’intention pour la branche «Interiors
Solutions» de sa division Automobile




Dans le cadre de sa recherche d’un partenaire pour la branche «Interiors Solutions» de
sa division Automobile, Recticel a examiné plusieurs possibilités de collaboration avec
des candidats investisseurs au cours des mois écoulés.


Le choix s’est porté sur Nordwind Capital, un groupe allemand de capital à risque basé
à Munich et déjà actif dans le secteur automobile. Recticel vient de signer une lettre
d’intention avec ce partenaire dans le but de signer les accords définitifs avant la fin de
cette année.


Les deux parties ont l’intention de loger «Interiors Solutions», constituée des activités
«habillage intérieur automobile» de Recticel au niveau mondial, dans une nouvelle
structure au sein de laquelle Recticel prendrait une participation minoritaire de 25%
maximum.

Recticel en bref

Recticel est un groupe belge de dimension européenne mais il est également actif dans le reste du
monde. Il est présent dans 20 pays avec une centaine d’implantations.

Recticel contribue au confort quotidien. Il fabrique non seulement des rembourrages de sièges mais
encore des matelas et des sommiers de grandes marques, des isolants, des habillages intérieurs pour
voitures et toutes sortes de d’autres produits destinés à des applications industrielles et domestiques.

Recticel regroupe les marques de literie réputées Beka, Epeda, Lattoflex, Literie Bultex, Schlaraffia,

de percer auprès des constructeurs automobiles les plus prestigieux.

En 2005, Recticel a réalisé un chiffre d’affaires de près de 1,4 milliard d’euros.

Nordwind Capital is an independent German private equity company specialising in investments in
companies with potential for operational value creation and with operations based in Germany, Austria
and Switzerland. The main strategy pursued by Nordwind Capital with regards to its portfolio companies is

shareholdings in Niedermeyer, an Austrian company also operating in the consumer electronics segment,
into a joint holding.
