Vermögensverwalter-Forum: Fully physical event concept convinces many on-site participants
The Vermögensverwalter-Forum (Asset Management Forum) held its ninth anniversary last Thursday as part of the 11th Baader Investment Conference in Munich. After two years of holding the event in virtual or hybrid format, a total of 250 participants took the opportunity to exchange ideas on current investment and industry topics in the same physical space.
The core program covered a wide range of issues, in particular the current market situation and various asset classes. In addition, one of the panels devoted itself explicitly to successful women in male dominated areas and offered diverse insights into the financial, sports and pharmaceutical industries.
Diverse presentations covered topics from the FinTech and finance sectors – from speakers including Erik Podzuweit, founder and Co-CEO at Scalable Capital and Achim Plate, CEO at Lloyd Fonds AG (LAIQON) – as well as topics from non-specialist areas such as a presentation from health expert and personal trainer Uwe Conell.
The program was rounded off by the 'Dialogue of Experts', which is already an established part of the Vermögensverwalter-Forum. Given the current market situation, the panel of experts intensively discussed the dominant topics of today: The energy crisis, inflation, monetary policy, the economy, economic policy and their consequences for the international stock, bond and foreign exchange markets. In the process, divergent opinions were also expressed, which were reflected in differing market assessments.

Next year on 21 September 2023, the Vermögensverwalter-Forum will again be held as part of the Baader Investment Conference and then as an anniversary edition for the tenth time.
